MATTERS ARISING None

LEISURE REPORT

Parliment visit planned for the 8th May 08. Cost to hire the bus is £150. Cost to the individual is to be £5 approx. Leaving at 10am and
returning at 4pm. Tickets for Ministers question time will hopefully be availiable.

Bingo Tea is confirmed as Wed 28th May 08, 50p per ticket.

Bus trip is confirmed as a nostalgic visit to Portobello Sat 16th Aug 08.

Sauchie Fun Day 5th Jul 08.

Alexander Brothers Concert, Should know soon if this event will go ahead, Failing this we may bring back the Frank Curran Big band, Either
way we will run a social event in September.

Gordon Banks MP will be attending the Aug 08 meeting as a guest speaker.

COUNCILORS UPDATE:G Womersley:

Gary gave a quick update on a few issues previously raised and informed the group of up coming Estate Inspections wherebye two members
of each area could attend. Council will be looking at the increasing problems with insufficient wheelie bins. The housing department will look
at attending our meetings on a monthly basis. Following a point raised by Sandra on the state of Branshill in conjunction with the bin problem,
the council have made a statemnt in which it was said that tennancy agreements are to be policed in a more efficient manner to try to combat
this problem.



There are site visits being arranged for individuals from various parts of Sauchie with local councillors and housing representatives to
assertain community improvements based on information from council officials, councillors and representatives from the Community Group.


A.O.B. Sandra thanked all those present for their attendance and all those who have attended the meetings and social events throughout the
last financial year, She also thanked the following for their help, CllrStewart, Cllr Womersley, Gail Walker, Christine Conroy, Liz King, and all
the other people who have helped us along the way.

Martin thanked the Group for there efforts and voiced his sympathy on losing the bid to save the Old College Annex. Martin further made the
point that in the coming year the Group could expect to find him becoming more proactive with regards to the use of media in particular voicing
the Groups concerns on issues such as local planning applications.
